Immigration

Immigration is the migration of a person into a country which is not his/ her native country.

As an immigrant myself, I now that migrating is not something simple. Thou, for some, judge and regard us as people with no love for our nations, love ones and so on. I believe these are assumptions they make, there haven’t take a chance to know us better.

Only when you know what a person goes through, you can then give your opinion. But still you are not to judge an immigrant because is in your land, always bear in mind that people immigrate for different reasons.

Forced Marriages

Africa and Asia are considered as the continents with higher forced marriage rates in the world.

It is no surprise our continent is always mentioned among those that abuse women rights.

Although there African nations where women have freedom to decide whom to marry, these countries are few. An example is that it is rare for West African women to choose their partners, the family choose the husband.

Traditional believes still influence everything. As women of these generation and African, we have to make a difference by making our choices.

Is a pity is impossible for some. Make use of this right if you can.

Music: Entertainment Industry

I went to a concert recently at the Tiger Valley. One of the performers was Jorge, a young talent from Johannesburg.

His entire performance was on sounds he does with his mouth no singing. It was simply amazing.

Also wonderful to see how engage is the public to music.

I guest am getting at the way music alter every day, our generation is always up to something new. More nudity, lyric with violent language is what we hear most of the time.
Music has become a competitive arena now more than ever and musicians have to adapt to the latest trends in other to continue in the business.

The best tactics guarantee survival for the artist and populaty among the public.

We are what we do

People often say we are what we do.
It may be true or it maybe one of so many myths we hear.

When a person is seen doing the same thing again and again, the people around him /her will always pronounce this phrase or at least this go through their minds.
Why is it that we can hardly consider the fact that some people do things the way they do because they find it comfortable and confident to do so.?

Yes, the state may be true in a sense that what we do identify us, but still at times what we do, do not imply who we are instead the circumstance we find ourselves in.
